Company History

August 1983	Established Tea Life Co., Ltd. in Shimada City, which was then part of Kanaya-cho in Haibara District, Shizuoka Prefecture, with the aim of processing green tea into tea bags and engaging in mail-order sales.
August 1990	Introduced a triangular tea bag packaging machine.
March 1992	Launched a catalog, now known as "Sarara."
March 1998	Started selling "Pu-erh tea."
May 2002	Discontinued the tea bag outsourcing business.
January 2003	Commenced online mail-order sales.
June 2003	Introduced the "Charcoal Dew Series" cosmetic line.
February 2004	Opened the Tea Life Rakuten shop.
April 2007	Obtained the Privacy Mark certification.
May 2008	Launched "Metabo Tea."
March 2012	Listed on the JASDAQ market (Standard).
November 2012	Acquired all shares of Apex Co., Ltd. and made it a subsidiary.
July 2014	Listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) Second Section.
August 2014	Acquired all shares of Daikai Co., Ltd., making it a subsidiary.
August 2015	Commenced operations at the Fukuroi Center in Fukuroi City, Shizuoka Prefecture.
October 2016	Designated as the first section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
October 2017	Recognized as a "Childcare Support Company" and obtained the next-generation certification mark "Kurumin."
May 2018	Started 3PL (third-party logistics) operations at the Fukuroi Center.
August 2018	Acquired all shares of Lifeit Co., Ltd., based in Meguro-ku, Tokyo, and made it a subsidiary.
November 2018	Established Trave Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. in Shanghai, China.
September 2019	Began operations at the Kakegawa Center in Kakegawa City, Shizuoka Prefecture.
July 2020	Started the wig business.
October 2020	Launched the sale of medical wigs "Natuwig MEDIC."
May 2021	Set up a photography studio at the headquarters in Shimada City, Shizuoka Prefecture.
April 2022	Transitioned to the Tokyo Stock Exchange Standard Market.
May 2022	Commenced operations at the Nagoya Center in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture.
November 2022	Acquired all shares of Office Supplies Co., Ltd., based in Fukuroi City, Shizuoka Prefecture, making it a subsidiary.
July 2023	Completed the liquidation of Trave Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. in Shanghai, China.
August 2023	Established SENN INC. in California, USA.
